Access to Law is a new student run initiative developed by members of Trinity College’s Law Society. The motivation behind this programme is to raise awareness regarding the inaccessibility of Law to certain sectors of society, with particular focus on socio-economic and racial barriers on both a professional and academic level.
Alongside speakers events and an Access to Law Day in 2021, we are launching a nationwide mentorship programme. Students taking part will be given a valuable opportunity to engage with legal minds from all paradigms of the profession, and hopefully spark their own interest in not only the law, but in University education as a whole in the process.
